No joke: This $2 treatment made my hair normal again

I’ve been struggling with my hair (amongst other things) for the past few months. After almost two years of relatively happy, healthy platinum hair, things started to go awry. It was breaking off in the front and I had a semi-bald spot in the back where my head rests on my pillow. I got a silk pillowcase and stopped blow-drying but it kept getting worse. Ultimately I decided to dye it dark brown, and I can’t even think about highlights until all of the old now-brown-platinum grows out. Despite going dark, the texture was still awful, and the amount of hair I’d find on the shower floor and in my sink was just scary. Then I read a glowing review of Deesse’s Linkage Meu 4+ and I figured for $9 (for four treatments), what did I have to lose?

Well, let’s just say I had everything to gain… After one use my hair was actually soft again. At first I thought it was the “first time” effect, you know—like when you switch to a new shampoo and you notice a difference immediately. Then, after subsequent washings my hair was still soft and “normal.” And the best part: I’ve noticed much less hair in my shower and sink when I (gasp!) blow-dry it.

I still have a ways to go, but I’m optimistic. My stylist says that all the old platinum should be gone after two more haircuts—which takes me to about February/March. And then you better believe I’ll be back to blonde (via highlights, not single-processing).

I was never one of those people who totally freaked out about their hair—and then all of a sudden I was. The struggle with damaged hair is real, but this treatment saved me (and my hair).
