My lips are officially ready for Fall

I never thought I’d see the day when my office and nightstand lip balms would be close to empty and I didn’t have backups at the ready. But this unthinkable scenario indeed happened last week and as luck would have it, Credo Beauty happened to be having a sale. With a manageable number of options to consider, I narrowed it down to two and I’m very pleased with my picks. 

First was DedCool’s Coconut Milk Balm Stick—because anything coconut scented is totally my jam. Beyond the amazing flavor and long-lasting moisture, this stick is larger than a traditional lip balm and I’m here to tell you that a little more surface area goes a long way! (This one will be living in my bedroom).

The other was Weleda’s Skin Food Lip Butter, because I also love all things Weleda. (If you haven’t tried their spray deodorant, I highly recommend it.) Definitely more oily and glossy than balmy (I’d call it a lip ghee), it’s perfect for my desk so I at least look like I’m wearing a touch of makeup throughout the day.

And just like that, I’m restocked and my lips are ready for fall weather… Now if the mercury would only drop below 80 degrees!
