What did I do before I started tightlining? I probably walked around with less-than-ideally-defined eyes… But now that this makeup artist trick is part of my regular routine, I feel like even just a light wash of shadow looks that much better.
(For anyone not familiar with tightlining, you basically apply eyeliner on the inner, upper rim of your eyelid and between your lashes at the root. It’s a subtle way to define your eyes without looking like you loaded on the liner.)
While this technique isn’t exactly time-consuming, it would be better to have a product that did the work for us, right? And that’s where It Cosmetics’ Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer comes in—and it does a lot more than deposit color on your lashline.
- It’s a mascara primer and lash-conditioning serum.
- It’s black, so unlike those white mascara primers, you don’t have to add a coat of real mascara if you don’t want to.
- The ultra-skinny brush gets into your lash roots to deposit color just like tightlining does.
Sounds good to me! I’ve added this to my wishlist, but if anyone’s tried it, I love to hear your thoughts!
