Gentle, natural skincare that's good enough to eat

Natural skincare lines can be hit or miss, so when I find chemical-free products that manage to smooth, soften or deliver visible improvement for a particular beauty woe, I feel it’s my duty to spread the word. This is certainly the case with FarmHouse Fresh—and even if you prefer a more high-tech or science-based approach to beauty, these products are worthy of a chance.

Exfoliation is key for youthful, radiant skin but you don’t (always) need harsh ingredients or abrasive granules to do it. FarmHouse Fresh’s Pudding Apeel is a sweet treat that’s so gentle it can be used daily to improve signs of aging and sun damage, and even help keep breakouts at bay. Featuring brown rice micro grains that help slough away dead cells without irritation; naturally-derived alpha hydroxy acids courtesy of lemon, orange and apple extracts; green tea and honeysuckle flower extracts for antioxidant and soothing benefits; and moisturizing honey and coconut milk—you may be tempted to taste this treatment it smells so good. And once you see how silky smooth your skin is after just one use, I can almost guarantee you’ll be hooked, too.

Who doesn’t like marshmallows? No one. But if you’re trying to watch your sugar intake, FarmHouse Fresh’s Marshmallow Melt products are a great calorie-free way to indulge. I’ve had the Shea Butter Hand Cream on my desk for about a month now and it’s already almost gone. Super-hydrating (without being greasy), the scent is so divine it just might help you resist that mid-afternoon candy craving as it nourishes dry skin and cuticles. I’m also hooked on the All Purpose Balm, which I’ve been using everywhere from my lips and hands to my legs and feet. The solid salve literally melts into the skin, and it’s perfect for tossing in my bag for instant skin-smoothing and soothing anytime and anyplace. This range also includes a body cream that comes in the prettiest glass bottle ever, and all of the products are formulated with shea and cocoa butters, jojoba seed oil, aloe and vitamins A and E. And if I didn’t stress enough how amazing they smell, you really need to see for yourself.

If you lean toward natural and/or organic skincare, I highly recommend you give FarmHouse Fresh a try (or hit up one of the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria and other swanky spas that use the products in their treatments). You’ll feel good about it, and your skin will feel even better!
