Early on in my relationship with my now-husband, he got a glimpse of me in a shower cap—and let’s just say he didn’t hold back about telling me how un-sexy it was. Believe me, I get it… Shower caps still remind me of the game Old Maid, but they’re essential for prolonging the life of a blowout nonetheless. Designed to prevent breakage caused by friction from your pillow, clips and rubberbands, this retro-chic satin cap helps you wake up with smooth, shiny strands every morning. Ideal if you wash your hair at night, this is definitely a different way to avoid looking like you have rat’s nest on your head after sleeping on your freshly styled hair.
