Believe me, I’ve tried more BB creams than I can count—and for the record, I haven’t been able to discern a difference between BB, CC and the rare DD cream options. I’ve tested all the most popular offerings, and their coverage, benefits and prices vary widely. This is truly a case of trial and error, and despite all of my test-drives, I always go back to Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti-Aging because it leaves my skin with just the right amount of coverage, a healthy dewy finish, sun protection and, of course, lots of firming and brightening ingredients.
When I was prompted to select samples along with my most recent Sephora.com order, Bobbi Brown’s BB Cream SPF 35 was among the options so that was the first one that made it into my shopping cart. Once I tried it, I was pretty impressed. It delivers coverage without being too chalky, it evened out my skin tone, gave me much-needed SPF and plenty of hydration and anti-aging ingredients. I even told my mom—who is very particular yet more low-maintenance than I am—that I thought she’d really like this one. (Like many of us, she’s on the eternal quest for the perfect base but her lifestyle doesn’t call for a true foundation.)
Needless to say, I plowed through that sample (thankfully the “Medium” shade was perfect) and I’ve added this to my shopping list for when my Garnier runs out. And frankly, I think you should high-tail it over to your nearest Bobbi Brown counter and ask for a sample so you can try this amazing BB cream for yourself!
