With Memorial Day upon us (how nuts is that?), it’s time to start rethinking our makeup… This time of year, a full face of foundation seems somewhat out of place especially when off-duty, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice everything you love about your favorite base. I know that some tinted moisturizers fall short when it comes to coverage, but Pixi’s new H2O Skin Tint offers hydration, enough coverage to even out those imperfections, and a cool sensation upon application.
I’ll be honest… I’m somewhat obsessed with this product. After staying true to a certain tinted moisturizer for YEARS, I’m enjoying the semi-matte finish that helps combat shine in Florida’s heat and humidity. I can build it up in areas that require a little more help in the coverage department, and it looks totally natural. And I’m digging the cooling sensation I get when I slather it on. The gel-like texture blends easily, and I like knowing that ingredients like deep sea water, rose water, camellia and lavender are doing something to soothe and protect my skin.
