I was going through some old makeup last weekend and I came across the eyeshadow I used for my wedding. Don’t be grossed out, it wasn’t the same exact one I used the day of my nuptials, but rather a back up I purchased some time later (which was still in the box and 100% sealed). It’s by a company called Being True, but alas it’s been discontinued, which isn’t really a surprise considering the amount of time that has passed.
Being the beauty sleuth I am, and being hell-bent on sharing this amazing universally flattering shade, I managed to find a dupe by BareMinerals—and it’s the Glimmer Eye Shadow in “Queen Tiffany.” Part brown, part plum, part bronze and slightly sparkly, this loose powder lets you go as demure or as dramatic as you’d like. It’s easy to blend and build, making it suitable for day or night.
I am so happy I unearthed this from my archives, as I’ve been wanted to try something new. And the fact that I think about my wedding every time I use it makes it even better.
