Nail art for the masses

Nail art has become a mainstay in fingertip fashion, and getting in on this trend requires tracking down a salon with on-staff artists (which is not as easy as you’d think) and spending a pretty penny—or taking the time to do it yourself, and pray that it comes out right. Well, ladies, nail art is about to get a lot more accessible and affordable thanks to Tat’z Nail’z system.

Essentially a printer for your fingers, this device allows you to choose from 300 designs and 10 colors (for a total of 3,000 options) or use a pattern or image of your choosing for a totally bespoke manicure. Each machine also has a built-in camera so you can even get a selfie manicure if you so desire.

The process is similar to a regular manicure, but instead of your manicurist painting on color after nails have been filed and cuticles have been tended to, you stick your fingers in one at a time and your nail art is applied. It’s also time-efficient as well, since it only takes 15 minutes for all 10 digits.

Personally, I’m pretty psyched about this, and I hope a Tat’z Nail’z system pops up in my neighborhood. If any of you have tried it, please let us know!
