Some might say I have a bit of a perfume problem. When I fall for a scent, I fall hard, and in some of the bottles you see here have been staples for longer than I can remember. The “oldies” remind me of a certain phase of my life, and I continue to buy them over and over again, while others are one-time purchases that make me happy while they last nonetheless. When I wear a certain scent, a friend or family member often says, “That smell is so you,” but the idea of having a singular signature fragrance makes me break a sweat. I apply my perfume each and every morning once I’m dressed, and I used to toss the bottle in my bag if I was going to be out of the house all day. Then I wised up, and stocked up on atomizers so I have my scent of the day with me at all times…
I came across these little Travelo atomizers a few years ago, and I love them because you don’t have to deal with a funnel or try to spray into a little tube. With these, you take the spray top off of your perfume, insert the nozzle into the bottom of the Travelo, and pump to fill the atomizer. There’s no chance of leaking, and the little window lets you see when it’s time to refill. Now each Travelo can cost $15, but I did a little digging on Amazon and got 3 for about $10. Winning!
Of course I had to take things to another OCD level by busting out the label maker, but it’s a lot easier to read than take a whiff of each one to find the scent I happen to be wearing at the time. Trust me, this is a great little project for when you have a few extra minutes on your hands—and you’ll thank me later.
