Wedding nails just got a major upgrade (but you don’t need to be a bride to get them)

When I got married almost 11(!) years ago, a manicure was definitely on my bridal beauty list, and I’m pretty sure I went with Essie’s “Ballet Slippers.” Sure, the hue was neutral and appropriate but it hardly had any pizazz. Nail art has come a long way and become part of the mainstream in the last decade, and leave it to NYC’s major mani destination Paintbox to elevate bridal nails (and all nails for that matter).

In addition to seasonal lookbooks that feature on-trend color combinations, Paintbox recently unveiled a Bridal Lookbook with sophisticated styles for any bride. From pale pinks with metallic accents to full-on mirror-like finishes and even a design for “something blue,” these manicures are an accessory in and of themselves—and you can gift one to your bridesmaids if you’d like all of their nail looks aligned.

Not a bride-to-be? You can also host a shower (bridal or baby) at Paintbox, give a gift certificate as a shower gift, or simply treat yourself to a magnificent manicure (from the bridal lookbook or not).
