Borba is back!

When I was an editor at NewBeauty (like 10+ years ago) the entire office was obsessed with these “nutraceutical” gummies that we’re basically skincare in a sweet, chewy form. Truly a first of their kind (at the time), they were the brainchild of beauty veteran Scott-Vincent Borba, who had also introduced a bevy of good-for-your-skin ingestibles including drinks (and our kitchen was stocked with them). Then, poof, they were gone (or at least I was when I decided to go freelance).

In some of the best beauty news I’ve heard in quite some time, Scott-Vincent Borba is back—and his latest project is an expansive range that includes beauty boosters that work inside and out. From skin-friendly chews and concentrates to skincare products, tools and makeup (and jewelry and accessories), there are a few specific products I’m especially excited about.

First, who didn’t love candy dots growing up? Not many of us would indulge in these pure-sugar confections now, but I’m dying to try the Glittering Glow-Dots. These may look the same as the candy of yesteryear, but they’re packed with ingredients designed to enhance skin hydration, firmness and radiance.

Another standout is the Anti-Fatigue 8 Hour SPF 29 Mineral Foundation.
