When I actually have the time, I always try to make the most of my shower. This means taking a few extra minutes for a hair mask, body scrub or the like, and the benefits usually stay with me for the rest of the day, whether they translate to soft, silky hair or radiant skin. Although I’m not one of those girls who gets too hung up on sticking solely to natural and organic, I certainly appreciate a product that I could theoretically whip up in my own kitchen, and all of Faith Aromatherapy’s formulations fit the bill.
It’s been a loooooooong winter, and that’s precisely why I wanted to try Faith Aromatherapy’s Tahitian Monoi Anti-Aging collection. I figured just the idea of a far-flung tropical island would improve my outlook, and alas, the Shower Gel, Body Cream and Sugar Scrub did. The Shower Gel left my skin feeling clean and soft, and the body cream absorbed fast and left my limbs smooth and silky once I stepped out of the shower. The Sugar Scrub is divine, and the good-for-your-skin blend of safflower, coconut and essential oils did a great job at exfoliating and hydrating my skin. I highly recommend this scrub on days when you’re wearing shorts or a skirt, because it gives your legs an incredible (yet not sticky) sheen.
Another major plus of this line is the price, as everything is under $20. And in today’s day and age, it’s hard to find high-quality products that are free of artificial ingredients and wallet-friendly. One thing to keep in mind… While I was expecting to be transported to the tropics with just one whiff of these products, I came to find that are very subtly scented. If you want to walk around smelling like the South Pacific all day, these products are not for you. But if you want a faint fragrance that won’t interfere with your perfume or clash with the fragrances from your other products, this just might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
