The eight or so minutes I spend under the dryer after a manicure are among the longest eight minutes of my entire week. I feel like a sitting duck, with nothing to do other than look around the salon and size up the clientele. I would give just about anything to be able to get in my car and go (I know I could get a gel manicure but the damage just isn’t worth it), but alas, this is the price I pay for nice nails.
Get a load of these clip-on polish protectors! I’ve seen some crazy beauty products in my day, but these just might take the cake. But with that said, I kind of want to try them. In a nutshell, you clip them onto the middle of your finger and the plastic shield protects wet nails from dings and smudges—no sitting under the dryer necessary. While I’m not quite sure if they limit your dexterity while you’re wearing them, I imagine they don’t as I sit here typing (although rummaging through your bag for your keys may be a different story).
