My love for/obsession with Charlotte Tilbury makeup has been extensively documented (start here to get up to speed), and I have mixed emotions about her brand-new Beach Sticks… On the bright side, I CANNOT wait to try them, but on the negative side, I have to wait until the fall when this brilliant British line launches at Bergdorf Goodman (unless I shell out $30+ for shipping from the U.K.). Fortunately I live in Florida, so I’ll be able to capitalize on their fresh flush when the rest of the country is turning to moodier makeup for the colder months.
Designed to deliver a healthy, summer glow, these chubby twist-up sticks are all inspired by Charlotte’s travels to Ibiza—and the shades were deliberately selected to coordinate with her existing makeup looks. The colors include sheer, shimmery pinks and peaches, an earthy bronze, a cool coral and a plummy neutral, and each imparts a wash of color to cheeks and lips. The ultimate product for makeup that looks and actually is effortless, it’s going to be tough to choose just one—but that’s just fine with me!
