A mask that leaves your skin smooth, soft and glowing is a good thing, but a mask that gets you all excited to use is even better. Actually, this goes for skincare as a whole, and few brands get me as fired up as Glossier. Maybe it’s the stickers that came with the Phase 1 set. Maybe it’s their awesome Instagram account. Maybe it’s because the products are fantastic. Or maybe it’s a combination of all of the above. Regardless, I received the new Mega Greens Galaxy Pack and Moisturizing Moon Mask a few weeks ago, and let’s just say I’ve been masking just about every night since.
Like a juice cleanse for your skin (BTW, I typed that before I saw it on the Glossier website), the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack is all about detox. Packed with kaolin clay to purge your pores plus a major surge of nourishing antioxidants, this creamy mask quells inflammation and leaves skin with a soft, matte finish. After 20 minutes, you can almost hear your skin saying “Ahhhh.”
The Moisturizing Moon Mask can be used after the Mega Greens (like a dessert for your skin, if you will), or on its own for a surge of skin hydration. Formulated with sweet almond oil and hyaluronic acid to plump up thirsty skin, licorice root and lemon extract to even out skin tone, and aloe and honey for soothing, I really want this multitasking mask to be part of my skincare regimen every night (and I’m pretty close).
