An entirely new way to remove your mascara
I’ve only worn waterproof mascara one day of my entire life, and it was for my wedding. And that night when I was so exhausted that the last thing I wanted to do was attempt to get it off, I remembered why I avoided it at all costs. The main reason is that I hate oily eye makeup remover even more than waterproof mascara—and there I was, dealing with both on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my entire life.
In the almost 10 years since, I have found a number of makeup removers that I can tolerate (Klorane’s Eye Make-up Remover with Soothing Cornflower is a favorite)—yet I find myself in need of something stronger when I wear Tom Ford’s Ultra Length Mascara. That’s why Mascara Melt-Off by Too Faced is at the top of my to-get list.
Yes, it’s oil-based, but it uses a mascara-like applicator to get the remover right down to the roots of your lashes in turn eliminating the need to rub, tug and essentially get oil all over the place. It’s designed for both regular and waterproof mascaras, and I would chase it with a cotton pad doused in micellar water to help wipe away every last trace of mascara and oil.
This innovative mascara remover is also infused with antioxidants like green tea, along with rice lipid extract to hydrate and condition lashes. Truthfully, I can’t wait to try it—and if you have, please let us know if it’s worth buying!
