When I think of fall beauty, a few things come to mind… Dark nails, dark lips and the healthy flush that only a stroll in the brisk breeze can create. So naturally I need a new blush for the new season, and my pick is the NARS Blush Duo in “413 BLKR.”
In case you’re unfamiliar with the 413 BLKR collection (named for the address of the first NARS flagship store in NYC’s West Village), it’s the bomb. The range also includes an illuminator, eyeliner, eyeshadows, lip gloss and a single blush—but I’m obsessed with the brick-red semi-matte lipstick and the hot-pink matte lip pencil.
But this new blush duo is just perfect… The brighter pink has a slight golden shimmer and the paler hue is more of a pink sand with gold and silver. I’ll be using the bright pink for a pop of color on the apples of my cheeks and busting out the lighter shade as a highlighter of sorts. Then maybe I’ll look like I just got back from checking out the changing leaves in Central Park (even though it’s really 85 degrees)…
