I’ve been using a Clarisonic skincare brush for as long as I can remember, and although I’ve known about the different types of heads (for acne, sensitive skin, deep-pore cleansing and more), there was one I was not aware of—until my friend Tessa brought it to my attention. So of course I did what any self-respecting beauty junkie would… I hightailed it over to SpaceNK at Bloomingdale’s and made a beeline for the Luxe Brush Head collection.
Upon fondling (yes, fondling) the Cashmere Cleanse Brush Head, I couldn’t wait to rub it all over my face. It feels like the plushest, softest, cuddliest blanket ever. The bristles are long and tapered, and the brush head is devoid of that inner ring of stiffer bristles you find on the other standard heads. I used it for the first time with a foaming cleanser, and this brush head helped produce more lather than ever, even though I actually felt less “scrubbing” than I do with my regular head. Clarisonic says these unique filaments give you the same cleansing experience while increasing skin hydrating, making these high-end brush heads ideal for even the driest and most mature skin. My skin isn’t either of these, but I’m hooked—and I’ve even caught myself copping a feel (of the Cashmere Cleanse Brush Head, that is) when making a mid-day pitstop in my bathroom.
