Summer is all about easy, breezy beauty—and barely-there makeup. This time of year calls for a tight product edit and no-fuss application, which is why I’ve narrowed my morning makeup routine down to my AmorePacific Color Control Cushion Compact SPF 50+ (I can’t wait to attend the launch event for the newest version this week!), RMS Buriti Bronzer, Charlotte Tilbury’s Beach Stick in “Las Salinas” and any one of the mascaras I have floating around.
As for lips, there’s nothing more annoying than your hair getting stuck in sticky gloss, and lipstick doesn’t always feel right this time of year. That’s why I was dying to try one of the new oil-based lip tints that seem to be the “it” lippie for summer (thus far). I picked up one of Lancome’s new Juicy Shakers and I couldn’t be more pleased—and my lips couldn’t be happier.
Billed as a bi-phased oil, the adorable package has a clear oil for hydration and shine plus a pigment-infused oil. The two separate when left alone, but a little shake before applying mixes them together. Better than the formulation itself is the applicator… Twisting off the top reveals a ginormous pillowy sponge that makes it easy to dab on.
I got the “Berry Tale” (a Sephora exclusive), and it’s the perfect punch of pink-coral color. But with 18 other colors to choose from, I think I might go back for more! If you’re on the hunt for a new summer gloss, I would put this at the top of your list. Thoughts?
